Picanins, tigercreek, and cmom,
Hello all! Guess what?!?! I did it! I posted a picture!![]()
I guess you can't do it from an iPad. UNLESS....it's just easier with a home PC or laptop. The icons are easier to navigate!
Here is a picture of one of the bears. This is the one that climbs the coop. Tomorrow, I shall post the 'climbing' picture, along with the new and improved and electrified coop. And, no, the coop is not sliding down-hill, the camera got bumpped by something.
Thanks again for laughing with me and helping me to navigate this site![]()

I live in North Ft. Myers. (Lee County) Anyone Else?
To me I use Permethrin excellent for them blood suckers.Use a mister or a fogger & spray all around but make sure chickens are out free ranging.Spray all weeds bushes high grass coop & you will rid your place of them nasty blood suckers.Hi everyone! Does anyone have a good way to control mosquitos in the coop? The girls don't seem all that bothered, but I can't even go out to clean in the middle of the day without getting eaten alive! Don't want to risk pesticides, and figure nothing else will work. Thoughts?

Guineas are excellent alarms But yes they will hang around but very loud if someone comes around that they do not know. Are Guineas hard to keep contained? Like if I let them free range on 5 acres would I realistically have to worry about them going over to the neighbors? Do they stick around for the most part?
