Thank you for the great swap! I brought a BO Roo for sale and a Jumbo Pekin Drake for trade. Roo went in first 15 min and drake trade was made as I was leaving!! OH!! and when I got home I found that 3 of my pullets have graduated into HENHOOD!! woo-hoo whataday!!

I liked seeing the youngsters out there participating in the swap. I know it must be hard to part with some of the birds but they are troopers! Some birds are competitive for the 4H projects and fairs and some birds can find homes where they help bring happiness to others. The chickens are all unique and individuals just like us.

This was my first chicken swap and we met some great people and the hosts are the kind of people that you wished lived next door. Wish I'd gotten out of my little concession trailer and mingled more but the wife just got off a 10 hour shift at 0500 and then we headed for the swap and she was totally beat, so I stayed close and let her cat nap some.

Thanks for having us, we have definitely made new friends!!

Thank you so much for having the swap! I had a great time. I love my little Ancona and my light brahmas and the EE hen from your neighbors. They are all in quarantine together and everyone is getting along great, like a tiny flock of their own! Everyone who went got oxine misted real good to ensure health.
