This is a chicken chick brooder kit or perfect home for quails. You can probably brood other poultry in here as well.

It has a poultry/quail water bottle installed which sits outside of the cage. The top opens to refill so you don't need to remove the bottle. Water bottle also comes with additional nipple to screw in.

Also installed is a poultry/quail J feeder with lid. The feeder sits outside the cage and this, along with the water bottle, allow more room inside the cage. This feeder is to reduce feed waste. It works great too. This is the best model I've seen yet at reducing feed waste

This kit comes with a brooder heat plate. I've had great success with this brand of heat plate. This is much safer than using a heat lamp. It plugs in and heats up just warm enough for the chicks but not too hot. This brooder plate comes sealed in the box. Brand New.

About the cage:

Lumber is pressure treated and also painted. This will allow it to handle moisture.

Coated wire to protect animals rubbing

Barrel locks for additional security

Would make a perfect home for quails. Low height to stop them from flushing.


This kit was made to make it easy for anyone to pick up chicks and brood them or to permanently house a few quails. Everything in this kit is reusable for many, many broods if that's the plan.

At no extra charge I would be happy to provide 12 fertile hatching eggs from my flock. My quails aren't laying eggs currently or I would provide 12 quail eggs complimentary as well.
