Florida White Meat Rabbits

I have several breeds of rabbits, Florida Whites, Flemish Giants, and New Zealands. Out of all the rabbits I personally prefer the Florida Whites. There size is between the New Zeallands and the Flemish Giants.

I really don't mean to pick on a brand-new member, so please don't be offended, but I think you are a bit confused. According the American Rabbit Breeders' Association published standards, the sizes of the breeds are as follows:

Flemish Giant - 13 lbs and up.
New Zealand - 9 - 11 lbs.
Florida White - 4 - 6 lbs.

I'm not sure if you have gotten your breeds mixed up, or if someone sold you rabbits that they said were Florida Whites, that weren't, but the Florida White is considerably smaller than the New Zealand.

(My apologies for correcting you. It's just that I have seen so much misinformation that gets picked up and repeated as Gospel, when I see an obvious error like this, I think it better to set the record straight before things go any further).

No offense taken. I have paper work on the Florida Whites but none on what I was told was a New Zealand Doe. The Flemish Giants rabbits also have paper work and they make all the others look very small.
