Fluffy cheeks?

This is an olive egger but which breed brings the fluffy cheeks? Also this is a hen right? Almost 10 week old.

I have some fluffy cheeked easter and olive eggers too! I read that it's the Araucana in them.
I have 6 and 3 have puffy cheeks and 3 do not.
Looks like a hen so far to me!

Usually they get their muffs from ameraucanas which it seems like is the case for your girl

I breed Easter Eggers with marans and the ones that are blue like the mom have her cheek puffs but the ones that are black like the dad have no or very little ones mom dad and baby

Am I the only one who thinks this is a male? Full body photo from the side would help to see what colors and pattern are on the wings. But that’s a lot of pea comb for under 10 weeks old.
