My 7 month old pup has fluid on his elbows!
Like Tennis Elbow, big knots.
What could have caused this?
It is only on his elbows. None of the rest of his joints are effected.
Appetite and energy is normal.
Will see about an Evet in the morning.

Got any ideas?

I have dealt with that, with two pups. Both times it was caused by sleeping on hard surfaces. So I had to get cushy little beds for their sensitive little hineys and elbows and within a week it was gone.

They both sleep on OUR bed now.......

No more problems.

I had an Afghan Hound that had the same thing happen. The vet drained fluid from them , but said they they came from sleeping on hard floors. The vet said they can come back, but we kept her in our room at night instead of in the kitchen and they were gone after a while.

He sleeps on the couch and on the carpeted floor. We don't have concrete outside.
Plus he lays on his side and his back. It isn't normal for him to be in the sphinx position unless eating.
That is why I don't understand why he would get it.
