Fly Control - Ideas?

There are folks on BYC who SWEAR BY Vanilla scented car air fresheners. I kid you not. Do a search and you'll find devoted followers of the yellow trees. I don't have fly problems, but I put them up around our run anyway just as a preventative. Good luck with it!

There was a whole thread on here about vanilla scented air fresheners meant for cars and how they repel flies. I tried them and they really do work well. Had flies all over the yard but none in the coop or run.
