Fly paper

Hello everyone,
Any suggestions for removing fly paper glue from feathers. One of our girls got tangled up with the tacky paper...needles to say, it was not good. I would suggest never, ever, use it. Calmed her down and removed what we could with a towel. Peaches seems fine now. But that was scary!

I would think vegetable oil would get it out, at least that's what I use when I get stuck to it. Of course then you need to bathe the gunky oil out of their feathers before some predator thinks it makes a great chicken sandwich.
