Fly problem , no more

I posted this as advice to someone and a lot of people replied that they’ve never heard this and let me tell you it’s the best. If you have fly problems take a 2 liter bottle and put a hole in it a little smaller than a dime about 3/4 of the way up the bottle and fill with sardines and a cup of water. Shake it up and give it 3 days. Day one and 2 may be disappointing but trust me day 3 and four we had hundreds of flies because they fly in the hole and can’t get out. My wife told me some old timer told her about it and let me tell you it’s the best. Hope this helps others

It does stink a bit but totally worth it for sure.

We use fly baits that used the same concept. Gross stinky powder mixed with water in a plastic jar. Flies get in but can’t get out. It works great. They are most effective if they are in the sun to maximize stinkiness

I actually purchased one of those traps that stink to high heaven that work on this principle.
It trapped flys yes, but it smelled my whole yard and made me wretch whenever i went outside.
Also i felt like it was not just trapping the flys i had, but was enticing more to my yard.
Yuck!
