Fly trap fell on duck

Wish I knew this when our golden retriever got into the sticky traps.
Well had Sons that fell asleep with gum in their mouths and my Dogs get sap stuck to them. My girlfriend years ago got her mop stuck in a flytrap too and peanut butter works..:gig...:frow

Now Id love to have seen a Golden Retriever with peanut butter spread on his fur. One thing about it if you have another dog it would help you clean the one with peanut butter on it off.

They were on 3 of her feet. :barnie weeks of trimming and removal of debris picked up from outside. :barnie Sorry to the OP for the hijack.

sour, after removing as much of the goo as you can with oil, (let the oil soak in a little first), wipe as much of the oil off as you can, then use baby powder on the area. The powder keeps it from being sticky, so it doesn't pick up debris.

WD40 would work and would wash out with soap and water.

Uh, I'd not be spraying WD-40 on my birds. Aside from the obnoxious, nauseating smell, it can be an irritant to the skin. If you have rubber products (such as a wading pool) that your duck uses, it could be ruined as ordinary rubber disintegrates if exposed to petroleum products (WD-40).
Joking: But all her rusty parts would be well lubed and she'd squeak less :lau

I don't know if the fly paper is like having chewing gum on hair but how about using Dawn dishwashing liquid? I know that when birds get in an oil spill that is exactly what they use to clean them up
