Monarch slowly unwrapped herself from the large dragon's neck and landed on the ground. She looked around, unsure of what to do with herself.

Bastet was roused by the Gazer's voice and stepped sleepily out of her den, "What is it this time?" She asked, rather grumpy about being woken.
 
(me realizing that the giant gingie from Shrek is essentially a giant two year old lol, ultimate ADHD)

Gazer saw she was still in a grumpy mood and thought twice about what she was doing but decides it was now or never ," look ...I..I'm sorry ..I was just..thinking and he heard some of my thoughts and I..I felt embarrassed and didn't answer his question ..so he followed me and awhile later I found him almost dead from dragon poison . I didn't think he meant that much to you ..I..I didn't know " gazer says calmly successfully holding back any tears that wanted to come flowing .

Bastet's eyes widened, "So you didn't harm him? You realize that you could've just said that in the first place and your cave would be fine, right?" She sighed, "And yes, never underestimate his bond with me. His parents raised me after they found me and weren't the best parents to either of us, we only had each other for so long, so now we are like this." Bastet flattened her fur in a couple places on her face.
