I have a question with..I guess shipping birds. I know you can take animals as carry on if the kennel can fit under the seat, I guess that would apply to chickens, Im not sure. Has anyone every tried taking them on as carry on? Or cargo? I want to go to Pennsyvania this summer and thought it would be easier to fly with them like that, but I don't really understand from what I've read on animal cargo. Would it be easier to just ship them a different way?

Um I will be there for like 2 months maybe or more......I need to hear back from my instructor if he found a place for me to intern at.
well 2 chickens for sure...If this works out I might get some seramas, 6, but those are small.

Ok, I will try to call and see. I know it can be different for other places, and some I read about needing papers, I have no idea lol and I have no papers.

I'm thinking just shipping is easier.
You need to have a health certificate and tests done on the birds, it would be 25$ for each bird to be check and I think 40$ for the certificate...something like that.
My grandma called the airlines, but really didn't find anything out, you have to see what each airline accepts and she got confused from what they were saying because they jumbled it all around...I know I searched before and it was like 100$ I think for animals to be put on cargo. I think she found out only 1 day old chicks may be carried on
