My little leg horn cochin crosses were in their brooder in my room,I had a top on the tote but it was just covering about 3/4 of the top and the big brooder light was covering a good portion of the rest of it in the morning I would find poop on the lid,the little kids were walking around on top then going back down.I have 3 dogs in my room at night too.1 who is always in bed with me.
