Flypaper in feathers

My little serama rooster got into flypaper. Poor boy was so scared! How do I get it out? I also just got flypaper in my hair. fun.

Is fly paper like those fly strips that you hang? If so, that's happened a couple times with my hens before. I just get the hen to hold still and pull it right out. You will pull feathers out and the birds will be a bit sticky but it will eventually come off.

animal rehabbers always recommend dawn dishwash soap, if he'll let you give him a bath?

with sticky traps for mice,vegtable oil helps.Maybe it will work with flypaper.

All flypaper out! I washed my hair in vegetable oil, and Buckeye is sticky.

maybe you should wash him in it too,but when hes full or oil DONT you even think of getting a frying pan.
