Flystrike Recovery Issues

Late Thursday morning (7/30/15), I came home to find one of my chickens being eaten alive by maggots. Though my mother and I were able to cleanse the poor bird's ulcer and banish the maggots, some lasting problems remain.

-The maggots seem to have eaten a hole smaller than the size of a nickel a few inches below the bird's vent, out of which some of her small intestine is likely exposed. It is currently both dressed and covered by a bandage.
-Probably not coincidentally, the bird has little no appetite, which could be problematic as she needs food to have energy and heal. She has drank water, however.

Can anyone offer some advice? I would very much love to see this bird live.

A few notes on her current condition:
-She is being kept indoors in a kennel lined with newspaper, which I change when she poops. The kennel is covered with an old curtain similar to mosquito netting to keep away any more flies. She has food, and also water which I have the option of adding terramycin to if needed.
-She has enough energy to stand, but prefers to sit in the kennel and sometimes changes her position. When I take her out to change the newspaper, she usually stands and never sees need to walk.
-Her poop is mostly the white, watery stuff-- bird pee if i understand correctly. Some brown stuff is present, but not much.
-As previously mentioned, the raw part of the wound is covered, so the skin can moisten enough to either heal or be sewn up by my mother, who has experience as both a nurse and a veterinary assistant.
-The wound was dressed with "Wound-Kote (Blue Lotion / Spray Wound Dressing), and it was dried off with a hair dryer along with many of her feathers after cleaning the wound.

UPDATE: She is now standing instead of sitting, and seems to be enjoying some strawberries we gave her. She seems to eat the most when I pet her, so hopefully she is recovering.

Make sure that all of the maggots are gone. Soaking in soapy warm water or betadine can help. There is a product called SWAT for horses and one called screw worm spray that some people recommend to keep flies of wounds. Here are some very good threads to read about other cases:

I believe that the maggots are gone. The important thing now is getting her appetite in full swing and getting the wound healed up. A cousin in law who is a vet recently recommended a certain dressing/ointment to help healing, but I am still worried about the exposure of what appears to be the some of the bird's intestines...

Also, its reassuring to read that the Blue Wound Kote is a good thing to use.
