I've seen that most people spray there bins with an extreamly diluted bleach solution and wipe it out before starting another bin of fodder. Anyone do this or have dilution recipe?

So I got the oats gonna start soaking them today. I've looked at alot of diffrent threads everyone seems to have more success with 30 mins vs hours at a time

I've seen other threads and videos of people only prsoaking for 30 mind vs the recamended 4-8 hours. They seem to have more success andfaster growing shoots

I've been growing wheat fodder since 2007, in the 1st season I was getting molds, I later found out that the spores were coming from the source, the bags, seed. I've been mixing 1/3-1/4c bleach to 1 gallon water. I water from the bottom, use a tote to dip my pans into, then set into a bucket to drain. Using a small pump garden pump sprayer, I spray over the top of seed daily, up till 3days before feeding. I submerge the trays daily as well, so it rinses the residu off. I've never had any issues feeding and the rabbits are thriving! Good luck, you got this!

hi! new to growing fodder and i'm finding a lot of mold as well. I was using apple cider vinegar as bleach made me nervous, but I've seen a lot of comments like yours which make me believe bleach is safe. Can you elaborate how often you soak or spray water with bleach? Just the first time or throughout the growth process?
