Fodder system?

I recently heard about a fodder system for the chickens . I did some research but still don’t know much . Is this a treat? How does it work ? Should I start one ? Etc.

It should be considered a treat as most people can't produce enough of the right things to feed their flocks. There are a wide variety of greens available at the grocery store that you can feed your flock. Do you have a lawn? Let them on it once in a while if you don't use chemicals. If you want to, do it but it's certainly not necessary.
