food dispenser?

Has anyone tried a rice or bean dispenser to store and measure food? I like that it draws from the bottom of the container, no bits left there through five bags of food Visually it looks nicer than a metal garbage can sitting in the kitchen. It measures the food. At least two sizes, 25 and 50 pounds. It's not in the works for me now, but is this something I could consider with all the extra money I'll make from the chickens? http://amzn.com/B0027P9WDW

I also saw motion detecting candy dispensers ..... hmmmm, add a funnel and a bowl below to get the chickens head away from the dispenser while eating. It would be easy to teach them to peck at something slightly removed from the food.
