My neighbors chicken comes to our house to eat cat food and lay her egg every day. Her eggs look okay but are they okay to eat, since she does chow down on cat food? I hope so because we've boiled and eaten a few.

The eggs should be okay, but cat food can make chickens really fat because it has so much salt.

Any time my babies got into the cat food and made a mess, I would sweep it up and toss it to the chickens. They would go nuts after it. They loved it. It's here and there, so I would not worry too much about it. Welcome aboard!
