I'm still new at this, my 3 chicks are only 1 week old, but I'm trying to plan ahead and it sounds like DE is great stuff that I should have on hand down the road. Since I will only have 3 chickens and limited storage space - it would be great if I could find a local supplier of DE in smaller amounts. Does anyone know if there are any local suppliers of this stuff in the Northeast? Within an hour or so are Hartford CT or Brattleboro VT? Thanks in advance!!

You must live near me if they're both within and hour . . .

There's an Agway distributor in Hatfiedld you could try - call 'em first- its Hatfield Feed and Seed. Or, prob best, the Greenfield Farmer's Exchange, - awesome place for everything. Oh, and try Easthhampton feed as well.

best.

Found it! Greenfield Farmer's cooperative exchange. 50 lb bags for about $20
