How do you guys feel about having feed in the incubator for chicks when they hatch? They definitely don't need it unless for some awful reason they would be in there for longer than 3 days. I have never done this but recently had a hatch where one chick hatched a day and a half earlier than the others and was totally fine but could tell that it was getting pretty hungry in there. I suppose it wouldn't hurt although it would make the incubator messier. Thoughts?
