Food inside or outside coop?

Just wondering what is better? We live in Utah with cold winters and hot summers in case that makes a difference.

I have food outside the coop, hanging under so the feeders stay clean and dry. I keep a waterer hanging inside the coop and one outside. I just feel like the coop stays cleaner.
