Food is getting wet from the sprinklers

We have a moveable chicken coop/ run thing that we put in a different spot in our yard everyday. It is going well except that the sprinklers are getting their food wet. We have the pvc pipe design with the lip coming up but the sprinkler water still gets in it. Has anyone found a solution to keep the food dry from sprinklers?

could you put the food in the movable coop? If so I would put it in there. If not i would try to build a little wall around the food to where your chickens can still get to it but your sprinklers can't.
