Food label says for 0-5 weeks only?

I went to a local feed store and they didn't seem to have chick food from 5 to 16 weeks. The store manager was dumbfounded, as the bag I wanted always said from 0-18 weeks (they are crumbles). He said they must have changed the label. It now says from 0-5 weeks. Mine are 5 weeks today and I had to buy it because I was out of food. I think they will be fine, but should I keep using it?

I think they will be fine. Is it the same brand and they just changed the label?

Nutrena has this, it is for birds up until 6 weeks. There is a midrange feed but the store didn't have it. I thought the layer feed was still too much of a dramatic increase in nutrients for mine so I just kept on feeding the starter, they're doing fine with it

Thanks everyone. I guess they will be fine on this one until they go to grower or layer later on.
