Food Scraps?

I feed my chickens all sorts of scraps, but usually its left over veggies. I don't generally give them meat because i don't eat meat, but they do get plenty of bugs from the garden and the occasional mouse that ventures into the coop.

I get a kick out of giving them left over spaghetti (unsauced), they go crazy like its are long skinny worms. usually have whole wheat, and don't give them too much or too often, but its a fun treat!

We give ours everything, including coffee grounds/meat/veggies..., except avocado and citrus. I didn't know about citrus until I noticed they kicked that away and read about it on here, now we exclude it.
They run to me when I come out with the compost bucket now.

I give my chickens table scrapes. They LOVE it.

I feed mine EVERYTHING but citrus peels and bones my chickens are especially fond of noodles because they look like earthworms. Lol. My animals are my babies everything i eat, they eat. My geese really like potato peels though. My broody goose is setting on 4 eggs (yay!) and she will pick up a mouthful and take it back to her nest and nibble on them for a while until there are no more and go back out and get some.I usually throw the fruits and veggies to the goats and whatever is left goes to the chickens.

When my ducks were babies, I gave them (soft) vegetables, cut up very small. I would also make them white rice and oatmeal, and I'd overcook it to make it softer. I never gave them bread, because I heard so many different things as to whether or not it was safe for them. I would say just stay away from citrus, onions, and anything too high in salt and sugar.

Tried giving our 2 week old pullets some lettuce for the first time. They were not too impressed and didn't eat it. Maybe they are too young or it might be they didn't like it. Will try something else later.
