I agree! Sugar is absolutely in everything when it shouldn't be! Its good to seek whole foods. America is a big offender. But the good news is that alot of people are starting to wise up and be more attentive to what goes in their food. Which is a victory in my eyes! Making baked goods for intentional desserts are okay in my book! Cause of course, with anything you consume, needs to have a level of moderation ofc.Last night on our tv over here it run the documentary from Amercia about sugar...the history of sugar in all food started in 1930, it was initially to prolong life of food for transportation from one state to another. After the great depression, the food corporations add sugar in everything and that is the cause of all illness...
Over here, whenever I shop I look at the label and it has sugar in anything that prepackage...everything.
I shop mostly unprocessed food, then I am the processor..I process them allbut I don't add sugar, just in cake
Even in the cooking show on tv, this chef was stir frying purple cabbage, she added a teaspoon of brown sugar so that it caramel up. I thought ....there really is absolutely no need for that sugar. The onion will caramel up the cabbage.
