I am thinking of keeping a chicken feeder inside my shed & water in the run is this Ok

Yes, they don't have to be side by side. Just accessible to all at all times

I prefer them not being side by side or they get food in their water.

That's OK.
I have feed indoors to prevent theft from wild birds and water outside to drop humidity. However most buildings also have auto water inside with horizontal nipples.
