I have a 1 year old silkie mix. About a month ago I treated her foot for bumble foot, cleaned it out and let it heal. It was a small case of it. Two weeks later I noticed she was lame. Dragging the same foot around, I separated her to keep her off of it. No change. Today I noticed the foot is swollen around the joints of the middle toe. It was weeping what looked like blood. I soaked her in epsom salt, sprayed the foot with vetericyn plus and gave her some baby asprin. My phone takes horrible photos but I took a couple to show what is happening. Anybody have ideas?

Have you checked for mites? I know some very bad cases can cause some symptoms.

Could she have possibly gotten it stuck in a door or something like that?

I haven't but I can check for them and treat them all the same just in case.

Does she look like she has scaly leg mites to anybody? I did read they can cause cracking and bleeding
