Hello! I have a 7 week chick who cut leg just above her foot. I found her in the coop laying, and noticed she hops on one foot when going to eat.
The cut area appears to have a green/bruised tint, not a deep cut, a little swollen and warm, but she’s eating and drinking. Her toes are limp. She doesn’t put her foot down really, mostly lays down. I have her separated now, sprayed veteracin on it. Should I soak it or is that only for bumble foot? Any other tips? First time chicken owner
