Foot Massage

I got dizzy but I was hiking and thought it was just too hot. (It was 110 out)...

... and I got dizzy with some of the aftershocks... as far away as it is!

Last time they had the 6.7 in N. Mexico we felt it too.

Most people I talked to thought they were having a dizzy spell. That's what I though at first....

Was that before or after you were on the toilet?

DURING the earthquake. Did you ride the small bus?

I'm just kidding!!!!

It was a whopper down in Redlands (where I work). What we felt at the office was probably a good 4.5-ish (a little ways away from the epicenter). A coworker and I were laughing afterwards about how we were both sitting at our desks watching the ceiling tiles to determine whether or not we needed to get under out desks. Nope...all ceiling tiles stayed put.

David (DH), however, was at home and didn't feel anything whatsoever.

The San Jacinto Fault has been a rockin' and a rollin' since the Easter (Mexicali) quake. It was past due before, but now it has the additional pressure from the easter rupture. I wouldn't be surprised if the fault ruptures relatively soon (geologically speaking...not necessarily this year) from just north of the easter quake northward. That is what happened in Turkey. It seems to have put some stress on the southern extension of the elsinore fault too, which will be ugly when that fault ruptures (thrust fault through highly populated areas).

I like moderate earthquakes, they are fun and don't cause damage (in most cases)!

You know if you think about,, the potty might be a pretty good place to be depending on how strong your reaction to being in an earthquake might be......

I don't even know what to type, I am laughing entirely too hard

I don't blame you. I would not want to get "stuck in that position" either!!

I have a dear friend who has a heart issue (or rather an issue with a nerve that regulates the heart). When she is about to have a heart episode, she described it as feeling an urgent need to use the bathroom. She said she's terrified that one of these days she won't know the difference and they'll find her dead in the potty... She said either way she makes sure there's plenty of toilet tissue.

i am mad i missed it. i have only felt 2, one of which woke me up, it was 11:30 am any way lol time to wake up LOL. i missed this one today because i was too busy doing duck laundry so i was putting towels in the washer. i heard the wall make a noise, but i thought it was a cat or something. then my mom yelled at me, but i could barely hear her. i walked out of the laundry room and the chains on the ceiling fan were moving. i was so mad i missed yet another earthquack (lol)
