For free in NJ - kalbach medicated chick feed

Hi,

Chewy sent me the wrong food. This is medicated Kalmbach 18% chick feed. They were supposed to send me the 20% flock maker that I always use. They do not want it back so it’s free for whoever wants it. Just gotta pick it up.

I just linked in the New Jersey forum.
If nobody wants it I would probably give it to your other hens a little at a time in mash.
Medicated is only amprolium so won’t do them any harm in small amounts.
I have done this in the past when I had left over feed. Though now I don’t use medicated feed, I used to.

Can eggs be eaten if I do this or do they need to be thrown away. I’d rather throw away feed than eggs

Not an expert, but personally I would t hesitate.
I would never give it as their only feed, just to be clear.
Anyway, hopefully someone wants it and can benefit.
