I'm actually stunned at the lack of extremes myself. Great comparison, very fascinating for someone like me who has never seen an egg from either type of duck!

I think it's more noticeable in the carton but i agree the call egg isn't as small as one would think then again.. it is lol my Muscovy lay some pretty big eggs... i should maybe put it up against one of my chicken eggs??

People sometimes ask me how large a duck egg is. I tell them, my runners lay eggs that are jumbo chicken egg size. But Pekins lay larger eggs. At least, my Pekins when I was a teen did.
