My baby passed away yesterday in her sleep, so I would like to write a poem as a tribute to express my emotions for her.
Yesterday you flew away,
From this place to another space.
You had felt the pain of evil array,
For this I pray you forgive my race.
For the time you were imprisoned and rejected,
Meant your sweet wholesome aura permanently affected.
Your pure spirit locked in a cage,
Your lovely voice just pushed away.
Even so when I took you home,
You opened your eyes to a whole new world.
You quickly learned how to be you
I saw the individual personality from your roots shining through.
You cleansed my mind my soul my heart,
Your character so full of art.
If I could give you another day,
To free your warming love to play.
We would sing and be happy, you and your sisters
Have a nap until the sky turned grey.
I love you Auburn my beautiful hen,
I will see you again, even if I don't know when
I will find you. X
