? for Nifty Chicken for Facebook Group

I love the similar topics and common interest and wanted to start up the Welsummer Club of North America for Welsummer owners and lovers group topic.

How would I go about doing that on Facebook? I can not see it in their search to make a new "group" of common interest in Welsummers. I dont know if it cost anything in there.

I did see some Backyard Chickens groups in there and wondered how they got started in it.

I'm not a groups expert, but it seems pretty straightforward. There is an area to create Facebook groups for free.
