***SOLD!***
Thanks for looking, but all 10 are gone now.
hatched 6/21/09
10 Buff Orpington pullets, sexed by the hatchery. We have 15, but my daughter is only keeping 5.
$4.00 each, or $30.00 for all ten!
Orpingtons are a dual-purpose breed, good for both meat and eggs. These pullets will grow to be heavy hens that lay brown eggs when they reach five to six months. They are a quiet, shy, gentle breed, perfect for backyard chickens in an urban or rural area, plus they are winter-hardy. Most local cities allow up to 10 hens kept in a back or side yard, but check local ordinances, to be sure.
Chicks are eating Purina Start & Grow chick feed and still need heat source at night for next few weeks.
