Aern't Red leg partridge almost the same as chukar? Chukar only cost about $5.00 not $50.00.

Valley and Gamble Quail sell for 10.00 or less?????????

Hello
Chukars aren't even close to redlegs. Redlegs can be released in fields and medows and survive. Chukars must be released in mountains or something to survive. Chukars are a little bigger birds. Chukars lay 10 times more eggs than redlegs. Redlegs are in huge demands in the United states because barely anyone has them. Calling a redleg close to a chukar is saying a barrbarry partridge or Philby's are close to chukars also. They are by far different birds, thus their price is much higher. earlier on ebay redleg eggs were going for over 100.00 per dozen.
As for the gambles and valleys, yes you can get them for around 10 bucks per bird, but i sell them for taxidermy and i must have them in beautiful condition and the price is just higher cause bigger places like cablela's buys them, Along with local taxidermist.
Thanks
