I am overrun with these eggs right now and will be soon removing several adult chickens from the flock. I have BCM, silkies, and barnvelders. all are seperated of course so these will be purebred! the BCMs are from davis and jean lines. the silkies are producing both bearded and non bearded babies. i have them in white, blue, black, and partridge. they are NOT in seperate pens in hopes of getting some splash and lavs out of them at some point. all the ones i have hatched from them look nice. the barnvelders are... well... barnvelders! lol all sales or trades will be for a dozen eggs. you could also wind up with frizzle/sizzles in the bunch too! will include a few extra eggs just to be sure you get enough in the mail safe and sound. they will ship flat rate priority mail only. and i only ship to the US. no canada or hawaii or mexico orders please. im not comfortable with it.

if you wish to trade please PM me with what you are offering. all trades will be handled via PMs and not in the auction thread. thank you!

edited to add: i only accept paypal payments in USD!

I am looking for the following eggs to trade for.

Mottled Houdan
D'uccles prefer mille fleur but will consider any pure.
Sultans
and Crevecoeur
any pure seabrights are welcome

basically any pure polish will do.

will also accept more silkie eggs but prefer bearded as i have enough non bearded boys and girls at this time.

Does the buyer have any choice on the selection?, and how is fertility on all the breeds?

buyer will have a choice as long as its a sale. i do have to limit how many of each go into a trade however. the trades must be as near equal value as possible to make it fair for both parties. fertility has been good for me so far. i have had some bator issues that has caused me to lose the very first batch of eggs i put in but im currently hatching some of each breed now. i will put a few extras in each set.

fertility is as the roo performs! now with that said, ill say this. all my roos have been doing their jobs well as far as i can see. i have more hens than roos so they stay busy and dont have time to pick on anyone. the roos have been in with then hens since i have had them. i got them i do believe mid-january. i cant guarantee shipping handling procedures of the PO but i can say i have been hatching them and not counting the bator issues i have done well. if i had to put it in numbers as in percentage id say i have about 85% hatch rate coming out of winter. but now thats with 3 bators running non stop too. I am sure they are fertile but again i cant control shipping and incubating. i will do my best to make things right IF its any fault of mine.

cuckoo what? marans or another breed? im actually trying to downsize a bit since i rescued a horse that was starving. but i do want to better the flocks im keeping so thats why im also offering trades for what i want. i dont much like cuckoo but i guess for egg production it doesnt much matter huh?

Lol, I have cuckoo marans laying. I will let you know on my mille fleurs, I haven't seen a single egg out of them, the lazy little things!

Lol, I know, and I am pretty happy with how my roo looks. I will have to get a picture of him and send you, if the sun ever comes out
