For those of whom like foxes

No hate for any predator, but when they start preying upon my birds, if it is legal - they will be killed. Plain and simple, that's how it is.

the Sierra Nevada Red Fox is endangered I assume that is a subspecies of red fox

I live in Alaska. Not Neveda. Do Neveda foxes live in Alaska? Awfully long road trip.....

They are in danger where I live too.

Huummm... Maybe you better fix your pens up to prevent the fox from killing your pets. If you don't, Mr. Fox (even if you dispatch him) won't be the last predator that gets a pet of yours.

I don't love or hate fox. Or any other predator. I know they are out there, I expect them to want to eat. If food is available they will eat. If food is not available they will move on to where it is.

If I leave a cheeseburger unprotected outside I know my dog is going to kill and eat that cheeseburger and I should not be surprised or angry! Same applies to local predators.
