for those without buried posts, do you strap/bolt your coop down?

I see a lot of DIY coops without posts in the ground, sitting on pavers/blocks. I'm wondering if anyone with a similar set up is doing anything to keep the whole structure down, or if the units are generally heavy enough to prevent lift. We occasionally get 40-60 MPH gusts... and by occasionally, I mean very rarely.

I used those prefab concrete blocks with the stud-holders on top. The blocks are 3/4 buried as you can see in the picture. I used 4x4 rails along the front and back. I think if the wind blew hard enough the coop would come apart at the seams before this foundation lifted.

Concrete slab, two courses of blocks frame after that is the way to go. Easy clean up low maintance. would never do a coop or other animal confinement on a wood or dirt floor. Concrete is cheep fast and pretty much permenant. Do it right one time and done.
