Forced Molting? Any Body Done This? Opinions?

actually forced molts make chickens produce more eggs. They starve for 3 weeks and no water for 3. Why it produces more eggs i will never know. I read it and that is why i got my chickens for eggs. I think it is cruel and i won't buy commercial eggs because of it!
