I am 69 years old and have eaten eggs all my life. I have not cooked all these eggs but this morning I found a piece of plastic about a quarter inch square in shape. I noticed it after I cracked the egg and put in the skillet. How could this happen?

it is plastic flexible and has texture 20171215_074057.jpg

pan was clean egg had nothing on the outside or I think I would have seen it same to the skillet. I am not making this up!!
The reproductive track of anything has nothing to do with the digestive system or you would have poop in the eggs too....:th

It's highly improbable, but not totally impossible.
Things can work their way upstream in the reproductive system.

Were these eggs from your birds?
Did you break the egg directly into the pan?
No chance at all the plastic was transferred externally from a kitchen surface?
Do you recognize the source of the plastic?

It may forever remain a mystery.

Great pic BTW @Ron Hardy ....and Welcome to BYC.
