Forget breed or gender, what colour is he!?

This is my 5 month old silkie cockerel and I have no idea what colour he is? He was mixed between my blue silkie cockerel and my white silkie hen.

I no very little about silkies so I could be completely wrong, but I think that you have a blue silkie cockerel with gold leakage. Leakage is not unheard of, and he looks like many pics I've seen. Calico, as far as cochins go, is just overly white mille fleur. Again, this info could be totally off the mark, it's just what I thought.

Thanks! I know you said you knew little about silkies, but I heard that cockerels with gold leakage are not good for breeding, why is this?

Well, leakage isn't good because the color is foreign to the variety.
