Im one of those that loves it, even if I'm not from the UK.

put it this way, my mother told me she fed me it as a child... I told her that counts as child abuse!

Marmite - love it.
And it is made from all sorts of spent yeast, too. There are varieties derived from Champagne and Guiness ale, for example - each considered a unique delicacy.
I hear they even have Marmite ice cream, should one be so inclined.

God save the Queen.. and pass the Marmite.

No idea - I would never waste The Food Of The Gods on mere chickens.
And since the move to this house, I have done without the company of chickens

Were I to guess, however, my bet is they would not hesitate to eat it - just like anything else that comes within their reach.

Mmmmmmarmite - yes, yum! It is produced (manufacturing plant) in Stoke-On-Trent, I have had some sent here to me in France as I miss it!

You can also make a drink out of it - hot water and Marmite...... Do you remember Bovril also- it was an ineffective substitute for Marmite.... now that should get somebody annoyed!!!

Hot toast with plenty of butter and Marmite..... forget frogs legs and snails...... Marmite is much tastier!

Suzie, too, has seen the light. As we say here in the USA - "you go girl!"

I wonder this: If people knew what Bovril was, would they still eat it?!
