What else can I use on my cabbage rolls? About the only 'tomato' thing I have is ketchup and spaghetti sauce. I have some of last year's tomatoes in the deep freeze but I don't know how to make sauce myself.

I'd just puree the tomatoes you've got and add a few herbs and go with that. My cabbage roll recipe calls for tomato juice, not soup.

You can use the spagetti sauce. Thin it with alittle beef broth (bullion) and you're good to go. That's how I make it.

Your spaghetti sauce should work - just add seasonings to taste.
Or like Katy said: use your own tomoatoes - sauce is easy-peasy!
Just put frozen tomates in a saucepan, I don't even add water as they release a lot of liquid as they defrost.
Add salt, pepper, whatever else you use with the tomato soup & let it simmer until it's as thick as you want you'll have your stuffed cabbage.
You may never use canned soup again
