Forgot to plug in turner for days 1 - 3 1/2. Keep going? Give up?
(turner has electric cord separate from incubator/fan cord)

No other eggs to start over with.

Are all the chicks a loss?

Anyone know what these chicks chances are of being normal if I do everything else 100% correctly?

Has anyone ever done this themselves before? Results?

Thanks in advance if anyone answers.

Oh, the eggs were from chickens right here at home. They were not shipped eggs. I don't have more eggs to start over with because the hens have been separated from that cock and put in with the free range group which has a different cock running with them.

Keep going. If I'm doing a staggered hatch, I will stop turning eggs that are still incubating for a few days while the other eggs are hatching and they do just fine. Turning isn't nearly as critical in the first few days anyway. Good luck on your hatch!

Never give up .. there are some amazing stories of what little chicks have survived in the incubator .. A little not turning could turn out to be a "no big deal" ..

Good luck!

I don't plug the turner in until they have been in the bator a full 3 days......You'll be fine, I think.
