Fort Cluck - First Time Building Coop

Pics
I have sinned. Bought my first prefab coop for another broody hen and her chicks. Bluey was supervising

So. Design flaw that needs addressed: we never put a door handle on the inside. This was the second time I’ve got locked in the coop, lol. Only enough wifi to send a text ( no cell service where I live and the coop’s fairly far from the house ) and I didn’t want to break the door trying to get out. Locked in there for 20mins while the chickens wondered wtf I was doing

Some deep cleaning to get ready for painting the inside and putting the flooring down. The broodies are pissed but they aren’t sitting on eggs, so they’re freeloaders at this point. Just mad at me that I took all of the bedding out of the nesting boxes

To give an idea of what it’s going to look like. Patchwork but hey it was free scrap rubberized laminate flooring ( i THINK ). It’s going to give them a lot of cushion when jumping from the roosts and I don’t think it’s too slick for them
