I bought this same brooder heater for the baby chicks I currently have....

Does it work good? I have to put it on the middle setting because Clops can't get in on the lower one because of her blind eye. She whacks her head and just gets frustrated

Thats very cool!! Very practical as well for your part of the world. Not gunna lie, I thought it was a tv for the coop at first glance

Yeah, it worked well. they are big enough now to not need it so I have cleaned it and will be getting the press and seal ready for the top of it for it's next use(in about 10 days)...

They have been with me for about 12 days but the were hatchery chicks that I bought from Blue House Fame when I picked up my barnevelder eggs. So I suspect hey are over two weeks old. They are growing so fast.....

Yes it's Saturday here, thank you! They're doing good. Some of the eggs in the bator are externally pipped so hopefully I'll have chicks soon.
