Fort Mill/Indian Land SC

Does anyone know of an older, established subdivision in the Fort Mill / Indian Land area that allows chickens? (I'm talking a small backyard flock of hens). We're looking for a house with at least around 1/2 acre.

I've a novel idea..... Since its " Indian" land ask the "Indians".
By "Indian" and "SC" I'm assuming you mean what most of us call the original human inhabitants of North America and more precisely South Carolina.
So ya, ask the tribal people of that area. Who knows, maybe it'll be beneficial both ways. It works here.

If you get in touch with a realtor in the area he/she may be able to help. City Hall may have some information as well.

Also, I'm from the Charlotte area and can vouch for the town being named Indian Land.

Besides, even if I did become offended it's my problem.
But what I said still holds true, it's theirs. I think it would only be respectful to ask them. Who knows, you may even have some backers.

I forgot to press "the button" yesterday when I had written another another responce. It had said merely,"I appreciate your positive regard. Thank you. Cheers." That was yesterday.
But today I wish to extend to you my positive regard as well and say I wasn't offended and also want you to know that I don't intend for anyone to become offended by what I say.
I also wish you well in your search for a place to call home for you and your loved one/s. Including your chickens of course...and whatever other fowl and any other animal/s you may want to keep.
As for me in that regard, I have only 10 chickens left of 130, 2 Rouen ducks from 30, 2 geese (1Toulouse&1Emden/Pilgrim) from 8(1African,3CanadaGeese,3Emden/Pilgrim,1Toulouse), 1 (M)RedGolden pheasant from 4(a pr RedGolden, pr Ringnecked), 30 pigeons(show and/or performance). Oh ya, 3(1BBBtom,1BlueSlate pr.) turkeys from 17(5Merriams,5Louisiana,5BlueSlate,3BBB)
I sold some chickens but I've had a lot of problems with owls and feral domestic cats. There is the odd dog too.
