When I had the coop and 'run' built, I had barely started researching chickens, knowing I wouldn't even need the set up until about seven or eight months later. I started posting here, the n00b that I was, and you all immediately told me my set up was adorable but useless in the kindest way possible. I am SO GRATEFUL for all of the advice. We now have a roof of both corrugated fiberglass and 1/2 in hardware cloth, run walls of full height hardware cloth and half height chicken wire. There are two gates to go thru for humans to get in, two by fours in between the two wire walls, and the baby run is also hardware cloth. They've lived in it for almost a week, now, and we are feeling positive!!

Here are Before and After. Still not perfect, still need to dig farther down and whatnot, but the posts are in concrete and the girls seem secure.

OhGoodMove!!
I'd cover the other half with solid roofing too, or at least the quarter over the coop.
Front 2 are pullets, can't see the combs on the others.
How old are they?
