Fostering dogs

Hello!
I am trying to convince parents to let me foster a dog. We have a very friendly dog, and she loves other dogs. I already have the place picked out.. but not sure how to convince parents.. any help?

Why do you want to foster a dog?

Maybe your parents don't want to because you already have a dog.

If you really want to try, you could make a list of all the pros that fostering a dog would bring.

I want to foster dogs
Because It seems like a fun experience and seems like a good, learning experience, and I would like to give them chances to know what a "family " feels like before going to it's forever home.

They said, once we move I can start fostering dogs. I guess we are only allowed to have one dog at a time. I am going to find somewhere I can volunteer and help with dogs and cats.

I would wait until you're future rabbit settles in. Or before. A new dog and rabbit at the same time sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Might want to keep the rabbit in a room where you can shut the door so the dog cant get in.

Sadly.. parents have changed minds on bunny for me. Said that my sister bunnies are enough, but also fostering dogs/cats has been something I have been looking into for about 2/3 months

if you can’t foster, consider volunteering. Instead of working with 1 foster, help many. Check with local organizations about additional ways to help, by walking, training, leaning, etc.

Honestly if your sister has multiple bunnies, why can’t you play with them too? You could do that instead- since your parents don’t want more rabbits.
